AIOU opens Spring 2026 admissions across all Levels

Islamabad : AIOU begins its admissions for the Spring 2026 semester offering programs from Matriculation to PhD levels. In this academic session, keeping in view the changing social, economic and market needs at both national and global levels, several new Associate Degree, BS, Open and Certificate programs have been introduced.
Among the newly introduced programs is Matriculation (Science Group) while Associate Degree programs now include Political Science, International Relations, Mass Communication, Commerce, Psychology and Data Analytics, all aligned with modern professional requirements.
Similarly at the BS level, several new programs are being offered, including BS Political Science, BS E-Commerce, BS Psychology, BS Mass Communication (BA/BSc based), BS International Relations and BS History (BA/BSc based). Additionally, BS International Relations and BS History (Associate Degree based) programs have also been introduced to provide students with further opportunities for academic progression.
Furthermore, the university is offering Open Courses and various Certificate programs which will be highly beneficial for individuals seeking short-term skills and professional development.
Admission forms and prospectuses for all programs from Matriculation to PhD are available on the university’s website: www.aiou.edu.pk. The last date for MS/MPhil and PhD admissions is February 17 while the deadline for Matric, FA, Associate Degree, BS, BEd, Postgraduate Diploma programs and Certificate courses is February 10.
