Govt commitment to continue cooperating for the progress and prosperity, Deputy Chairman

Islamabad : Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan,met with delegations representing various walks of life at the Parliament House. The delegations comprised doctors, lawyers, students, social workers, representatives of civil society, tribal elders, prominent business leaders, traders, and investors.
During the interaction, the Deputy Chairman Senate stated that the present government, in collaboration with its coalition partners, is undertaking effective measures to promote development, prosperity, and social cohesion across the country. He emphasized that national progress and economic stability require close coordination and mutual cooperation among all institutions, as well as between the federal and provincial governments. He noted that only through collective efforts and institutional harmony can Pakistan be placed firmly on the path of sustainable development.
Senator Syedal Khan further remarked that the current government is moving forward by taking all stakeholders and institutions on board, the positive outcomes of which are being practically felt by the public. He highlighted that the government is sincerely focused on providing relief to the people, citing the significant reduction in petroleum prices as a key step towards easing the financial burden on citizens.
Expressing optimism about the country’s future, the Deputy Chairman Senate said the day is not far when the people of Pakistan will enjoy prosperity and have access to basic facilities comparable to those available in developed nations. He underscored the importance of civil society’s proactive role in ensuring sustainable development, promoting social harmony, and fostering a positive and constructive mindset within society.
He urged students, lawyers, doctors, and representatives of the social sector to play their pivotal roles in national development and prosperity. He encouraged students to acquire quality education and contribute to creating employment opportunities, lawyers to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities and contribute to social reforms, and doctors to further strengthen public healthcare services for the betterment of the country.
The delegations expressed their confidence in the leadership of the Deputy Chairman Senate and the policies of the government, and reaffirmed their commitment to continue cooperating for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
