Quaid unity, faith and discipline gave our nation a clear direction, President

Message of President Asif Ali Zardari on the Birthday of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Islamabad : Today, we honour Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Father of the Nation, and remember the conviction and hard work that shaped Pakistan. His leadership and principles continue to guide us as we navigate the challenges of our time.

The Quaid stood for democracy, justice and equality. These values remain central to our national journey and must continue to shape our choices and institutions. His call for unity, faith and discipline gave our nation a clear direction. These principles remain essential for our progress and for maintaining social cohesion and confidence.

As we approach the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam next year, it is important that we reflect on his life and struggle in a meaningful and thoughtful manner. This milestone offers an opportunity to renew our commitment to his vision and to pass on his ideals to future generations with honesty and purpose.

I urge all Pakistanis, particularly our youth, to hold firm to these ideals and contribute to building a peaceful, inclusive and forward-looking Pakistan. We face many difficulties, but we also have the strength and resilience to move ahead when we stand together.

We will continue to support efforts that strengthen democracy, promote tolerance and protect the rights of all citizens without distinction. This is the Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam envisioned, and it is the path we must continue to follow.

As we remember the Quaid’s guiding principles, I encourage all Pakistanis to work together for a future that reflects his vision of a fair, democratic and confident nation. Our strength lies in unity and in our shared resolve to serve Pakistan with honesty, purpose and respect for one another.
