
Islamabad – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has issued an exequatur signed by the President of Pakistan, formally recognising Asad Ur Rehman Khan as Honorary Consul of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Pakistan.
The appointment will strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate consular services, trade promotion, and people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Commonwealth of Bahamas.
Furthermore, the consulate is expected to support business and investment opportunities, creating avenues for entrepreneurs and investors from Pakistan and the Bahamas to explore mutually beneficial partnerships. This initiative aligns with the broader objective of strengthening economic ties and fostering sustainable growth.
Looking ahead, both nations are committed to maintaining open dialogue and cooperation across diplomatic, economic, and social spheres. The honorary consulate will serve as a bridge to further enhance bilateral relations, reflecting the continued commitment of Pakistan and the Bahamas to constructive and lasting partnerships.
