Islamabad : Annual Sports Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Model College for Boys, I-8/3, aiming to promote physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah, Executive Director IBCC, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Fayyaz Nadeem (Director Training Islamabad), social and political figure Sajid Abbasi, Madam Nilofar, and principals of various Model Colleges.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Naat, and the national anthem. Students presented an impressive march past, after which the Sports Week was formally inaugurated by lighting the torch.
Students actively participated in various sports competitions, creating an energetic and festive environment. Principal Shahid Mahmood Abbasi appreciated the efforts of students and staff, highlighting the importance of sports in students’ overall development.
At the conclusion, the chief guest announced a cash prize of PKR 10,000 for the winning team. The event ended with a prayer.
