BFC providing investors with a one-window facilitation mechanism, Sheikh

MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan Meets Federal Minister for Board of Investment

Islamabad : Member of the National Assembly, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, called on the Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh.

During the meeting, the overall national situation and the improving economic indicators were discussed in detail. Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh stated that Pakistan’s economic outlook is strengthening due to consistent reforms and a stable policy framework under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, whose vision prioritizes investment-led growth and economic stability.

MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan appreciated the proactive role of Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh in promoting investment, particularly highlighting the impact of the Business Facilitation Council (BFC) and the Asaan Karobar Act in improving the investment climate.

The Federal Minister emphasized that BFC is providing investors with a one-window facilitation mechanism, significantly reducing procedural hurdles. He further noted that recent regulatory reforms are crucial for enhancing investor confidence and boosting business activity across the country.

Highlighting government priorities, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh stated that this is the best time to invest in Pakistan, as the government continues to pursue policy continuity and business-friendly reforms to attract both domestic and foreign investors, in line with the vision set by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The Federal Minister also underlined that creating business and investment opportunities for the youth is essential for national economic growth, adding that entrepreneurship plays a key role in sustainable development.

MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan extended an invitation to the Federal Minister to visit the Khushab and Sargodha Chambers of Commerce to further strengthen engagement with the business community.

The Federal Minister presented a shield to MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan in recognition of his support for investment promotion and engagement with the business community.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation that the Board of Investment remains fully committed to facilitating investors and promoting investment-led economic growth under the leadership of Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and the guidance of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
