Pak–Bangladesh ties steadily stabilizing, High Commissioner

2econd edition of Made in Pakistan exhibition will be launched in 2026, Founder Chairman PAEI

ISLAMABAD : Founder Chairman of Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry Khurshid Barlas met the High Commissioner of Bangladesh posted in Pakistan Muhammad Iqbal Hussain Khan at the Embassy of Bangladesh. During the conversation, the founding chairman Khurshid Barlas said that this year’s Made in Pakistan exhibition was held in Bangladesh from 23rd to 27th September at the International Convention City, in which Bangladesh government and people participated fully and we received more than expected, which we cannot forget. We felt safe and like Pakistan while living in Bangladesh. And we are planning to hold the Made in Pakistan exhibition in Bangladesh in the future as well. High Commissioner of Bangladesh Muhammad Iqbal Hussain Khan thanked Khurshid Barlas for the wonderful exhibition and we hope that you will continue the series of exhibitions in Bangladesh in the future. We assure you of our cooperation in this regard. The relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh is based on mutual respect and friendship. During the conversation, Bangladeshi Ambassador Muhammad Iqbal Hussain said that Pakistan and Bangladesh agreed on cooperation in trade, investment and industry, energy, climate change, information technology, and increasing cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh in the fields of medical and religious tourism. The relationship between the two countries is getting stronger and through Karachi port, Bangladesh will be able to trade with regional countries including China and Central Asian countries. Steps are being taken to start direct flights between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Cooperation in the fields of medical and religious tourism was agreed between the two countries. We have to work together in agriculture, transport and communication, education, banking, health, tourism, information and broadcasting and textile sector. Finally, on behalf of Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, the founding chairman also presented the shield to Bangladesh High Commissioner Mohammad Iqbal Hussain Khan.
