
Islamabad, : Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met a delegation of faculty members and students from Beaconhouse School System Wah Cantt and Askari School & College System Mansehra, who visited Parliament House. The Speaker warmly welcomed the students and appreciated their keen interest in the functioning and proceedings of Parliament.
During the meeting, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq informed them on parliamentary affairs, public representation, and the mechanisms through which laws are enacted. He emphasized that the youth are the future of Pakistan, and their education, guidance, and awareness of national responsibilities are essential for the country’s progress.
Highlighting the importance of exposing young people to parliamentary traditions, constitutional responsibilities, and democratic values, the Speaker reaffirmed that the doors of Parliament will always remain open for educational visits and awareness programmes. Such opportunities, he noted, enable students to observe democratic processes firsthand and strengthen their understanding of governance.
The delegation thanked the Speaker for facilitating their visit and expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to experience the parliamentary environment. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended his best wishes to the students and expressed confidence that they would grow into responsible, confident, and constructive citizens who will contribute positively to Pakistan’s future.
