PM orders top-quality execution of Jinnah Medical Complex

Islamabad : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the relevant authorities to ensure world-class standards, transparency, and complete digitisation in the execution of the Jinnah Medical Complex and Daanish University projects.

During his visit to the sites, the prime minister was given a detailed briefing on the projects being constructed in the institutional-sector along Srinagar Highway.

It was informed in the briefing that 600 kanals of land had been allocated for Jinnah Medical Complex and 800 kanals for Daanish University developments.

Officials informed him that water-supply works will be completed within two months, while the PC-1 had been prepared in consultation with experts.

On the occasion, the prime minister stressed that only the most credible and well-reputed companies must be pre-qualified and awarded the contracts to ensure the highest construction and operational quality. He ordered that all payments be processed through a third party to maintain transparency.

PM Shehbaz Sharif further directed that all project-affected individuals be given their due rights without delay. He instructed the Ministers for Power and Energy to personally focus on and supervise the progress.

Stressing modern standards, he said that every component, whether university operations, management, or auxiliary systems, must be fully digitised and paperless, adding that the entire setup should meet global benchmarks. He also emphasised the need for comprehensive horticulture and landscaping.

The prime minister made it clear that no politics should interfere with the projects, underscoring that all decisions must be based on fair play, merit, and honesty of purpose.
