President lauds Security Forces for eliminating Indian-backed militants in KP

Islamabad :— President Asif Ali Zardari praised the Security Forces for their successful operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which 15 militants belonging to the Indian-backed Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements. He said these actions reflected the forces’ clear strategy and firm resolve, noting in particular the elimination of Alam Mehsud, the ringleader of the group.

The President reaffirmed that the national consensus against foreign-sponsored terrorism would continue without pause. He said the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under “Azm-e-Istehkam” represented a shared national effort to secure lasting peace.

President Zardari made it clear that no political move or attempt to create distraction at any level would be tolerated if it risked undermining the unity required to confront extremism and terrorism.

He saluted the courage and commitment of the Security Forces and law enforcement agencies and said that with the grace of Allah the country would soon be free from the threat posed by external militants.
