SUPARCO and IST day one region’s largest Space Science and Technology Conference
Islamabad : Pakistan has become the center of global scientific attention, with the world’s eyes focused on the country as it successfully hosts the largest space conference, the International Conference on Applications of Space Science and Technology (ICAST).
The salient highlight of the conference includes 10 exclusive Domains and 60 Research Presentation sessions are planned. Where more than 200 Research papers enimating from around 16 countries includong pakistan are being presented in addition 13 space applications for industry based workshops are planned at ICAST.
There will be 06 theamatic planary session where experts from around 21 countries will enlighten the participants about the role of space technologies in developing the industry and economy of different countries.
The global conference, organized in collaboration with SUPARCO and Islamabad Space & Technology, will continue from 18 to 20 November.
The primary objective of the conference is to highlight the benefits of space and its allied technologies for the technological development of industry ,businessess, communities and society in pakistan.
Apart of this due to its global outreach space related technologies being developed at IST and the Research associated with it are being presented at ICAST 2025 , to benefit humanity.
The participation of international delegates has opened new avenues for investment in Pakistan’s space sector.
The conference features comprehensive discussions on satellite technology and AI applications, while a detailed strategy will be formulated for joint research capacity building, and technology exchange in the space domain.
Global dialogues and partnerships emerging from this event will play a pivotal role in Pakistan’s scientific advancement.
Collaborative projects and scientific cooperation among member countries will significantly enhance Pakistan’s capabilities in the space sector.
