Islamabad : Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jian Zedong.
During the meeting, Pakistan-China bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest were discussed.
Ambassador Jian Zedong condemned the suicide attack near the Islamabad District Courts and expressed his condolences over the tragic loss of human lives.
Ambassador said that the spokesperson of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs had also condemned this unfortunate incident.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation in counter-terrorism and security.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan-China relations are based on mutual trust and respect.
He added that China is a trusted friend of Pakistan, which has stood by the country in every difficult moment.
The Chinese Ambassador said that China will continue to extend full cooperation to Pakistan.
