Chairman Senate visited residence of late Senator Irfan Siddiqui to offer condolences

Islamabad : Chairman Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani visited the residence of late Senator Irfan-ul-Haq Siddiqui to offer condolences on his passing. The Chairman expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Senator Siddiqui, noting that his national, political, social and parliamentary services will always be remembered with great respect.

Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani stated that the late Senator rendered commendable contributions to legislation in the Upper House and performed outstandingly as Chairman of Senate Committee. He added that Senator Siddiqui also earned a distinguished place in the field of journalism, where he was regarded among the country’s finest columnists.

The Chairman Senate conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family and observed that the void created by Senator Siddiqui’s demise will not be filled for a long time. He prayed for the elevation of the departed soul and for patience and strength for the family.

Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani assured the family of every possible support and said that he stands with them in this moment of grief.
