
Islamabad :- Advisor to the Chairman Senate and Ambassador to the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference (ISC), Misbah Khar, warmly welcomed distinguished delegations from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Liberia, and Uzbekistan for the ISC Meeting.
Opening the series of bilateral engagements, Khar received the Saudi delegation, highlighting Pakistan’s deep-rooted ties with the Kingdom and expressing optimism about Saudi Arabia’s prospective membership in the ISC. She emphasized that both nations share a vision of global peace, dialogue, and sustainable development.
Continuing the engagements, Khar met Lancen Haddad, Vice President of Morocco, commending Morocco’s longstanding partnership and active participation in the ISC. Vice President Haddad lauded Pakistan’s initiative and reaffirmed Morocco’s commitment to fostering parliamentary cooperation.
Welcoming the Liberian delegation, led by Richard Nagbe Koon, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Khar underscored Pakistan’s dedication to building inter-parliamentary collaboration founded on peace and mutual respect. Speaker Koon appreciated Pakistan’s leadership and expressed Liberia’s readiness to contribute to ISC’s global mission.
Khar also received Alisher Tukhtaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with his delegation, appreciating Uzbekistan’s participation and commitment to the forum. Both sides reaffirmed their intent to advance cooperation through future MoUs and shared development goals.
Concluding the series of meetings, Misbah Khar extended Pakistan’s warmest welcome to all visiting delegations, expressing confidence that the ISC will serve as a platform for promoting peace, unity, and parliamentary partnership across continents*.
