
Islamabad — Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan, held separate meetings with delegations comprising parliamentarians, lawyers, doctors, students, tribal elders, and senior journalists at the Parliament House. Former Senator Behramand Khan Tangi and former Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, also called on the Deputy Chairman along with their delegations.
During the interactions, Deputy Chairman Senate emphasized that the government is committed to national development, economic stability, and public welfare. He urged all political parties to work together with unity and consensus for the greater national interest.
Highlighting the government’s focus on Balochistan, he said that the province holds a pivotal role in Pakistan’s progress, and special attention is being given to development projects and resource allocation for underprivileged communities.
In his meeting with lawyers, he reaffirmed the importance of upholding the Constitution and the rule of law, while assuring support for resolving issues faced by the legal community. Addressing the delegation of doctors, he lauded their vital role in serving humanity and noted that healthcare improvement and staff welfare remain key government priorities.
Speaking to tribal elders, he acknowledged their historic contributions to national unity and defense, reiterating the government’s resolve to ensure their rights and representation.
The Deputy Chairman appreciated the role of parliamentarians in strengthening democracy and urged them to play an active role in legislation and policymaking for public welfare.
All visiting delegations thanked Deputy Chairman Syedal Khan for his time and commended his efforts in promoting national cohesion and inclusive development.
