
Washington DC : Pak Ambassador to the United States, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has said that enhanced economic and investment ties were critical for strong and sustainable Pakistan-US Relations.
He said that the United States remains Pakistan’s largest trading market however there was a huge potential to increase current business volume several-fold.
The Ambassador said that low costs and superior quality give Pakistani products a competitive edge over those from other countries in the region.
In addition to traditional products, there is a need to focus on non-traditional exports as well, he stressed
By deepening business relations and catering to the market needs, the business volume can be increased significantly.
Considering the demands of this vast market, it is essential to fully leverage existing resources and promote a collective mindset, he said while talking to delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries who is currently visiting the United States.
The delegation was led by Sardar Saqib Nasim, President of the Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, and Brand Designer Muhammad Rauf Raja. The delegation included prominent business figures representing various industries.
Trade Minister Mohammad Hanif Channa was also present during the meeting.

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries is organizing a one-day business conference and expo in Virginia, where Pakistani products will be showcased to US business community.
The delegation extended an invitation to the Pakistani Ambassador to attend the expo as chief guest. Accepting the invitation, the Ambassador will visit the expo tomorrow.
