Saudi Arabia, through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre and in collocation with Pakistan Bait-ul-mal, Launches Dates Distribution Project Pakistan 2025
Islamabad, — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) officially launched the Dates Distribution Project Pakistan 2025 at a ceremony held in Islamabad.
The project was formally inaugurated by His Excellency Nawaf Saeed Bin Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, in the presence of the Chief Guest His Excellency Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, Managing Director, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, along with representatives from government institutions, international organizations, and humanitarian partners.
Under this initiative, KSrelief will distribute premium-quality Saudi dates across all provinces and regions of Pakistan including Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir in close collaboration with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal.
The project aims to support thousands of vulnerable families, especially those affected by floods and economic hardships, by helping meet their basic nutritional needs.
Speaking at the launch event, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan highlighted that this initiative embodies the deep-rooted friendship, brotherhood, and humanitarian partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The Dates Distribution Project 2025 forms part of KSrelief’s broader humanitarian efforts across Pakistan. The Centre continues to implement multiple programs in the areas of food security, health, education, water and sanitation, and livelihood support—reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to serving humanity and promoting sustainable development.
In his closing remarks, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for their continued support to the people of Pakistan. He acknowledged the Centre’s long-standing humanitarian partnership and reiterated Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal’s commitment to working hand in hand with KSrelief to ensure that this generous assistance reaches the most deserving families across the country.
