
Islamabad :- 3rd Trilateral Speakers Conference began, focusing on parliamentary cooperation for regional peace and prosperity.
To addressing the opening session, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq welcomed the Speakers of Azerbaijan and Turkiye in the Conference. He said the participation of Azerbaijan and Turkiye in the Trilateral Conference is welcoming and a source of pleasure for Pakistan.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the trilateral cooperation of Pakistan, Turkiye and Azerbaijan is an example of a unique and strategic partnership. He said this partnership is not only at government to government level, but it is also the will of the people and the voice of the parliament. He said the global security system is under severe pressure and violations of the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity continue among the comity of nations
Turning to Palestine, the Speaker National Assembly said the two-year cruelty and barbarianism in Gaza will remain a stain on the human conscience. About Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the Kashmiri people have been deprived of their right to self-determination for the past seven decades and massive human rights violations are also continuing there.
He reiterated that Pakistan will continue to extend its moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for right to self-determination as promised to them under the UN Security Council resolutions.
The Speaker National Assembly said India made blatant aggression against Pakistan in May this year. But the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the entire nation gave a befitting reply to Indian aggression under “Operation Banyan-um-Marsoos”.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed profound gratitude to Pakistan’s friendly countries, especially Turkiye, Azerbaijan, China and Saudi Arabia for supporting Pakistan.

About Afghanistan, the Speaker called upon the Taliban government to take immediate and verifiable actions to neutralize the terrorist groups, operating from Afghanistan’s land.
He said Pakistan remains a direct target of Indian state sponsored terrorism which has recently escalated through the proxies of Fitna al Khawarij.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said these miscreants are using Afghanistan as a base while Taliban-led government has done little to stop these terrorist groups.
