PMYP showcases Pakistan’s Youth vision at OIC Youth Capital

Marrakesh, Morocco – Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Government of Pakistan, actively participated in the OIC Youth Capital 2025 Volunteers and Youth Gathering, held in Marrakesh in collaboration with the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF). The event brought together youth delegates from OIC member states and across the Muslim world to strengthen cooperation and collective action for youth empowerment.
Representing Pakistan, Rizwan Anwar, Special Representative to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the vision of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for youth development. He highlighted key initiatives being implemented under the leadership of Chairman PMYP, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, particularly emphasizing the success of Pakistan’s Digital Youth Hub, which has emerged as the country’s leading platform enabling young people to access opportunities, scholarships, and skills development programs. Maha Jamil, Special Representative to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, also addressed the forum, underscoring the importance of volunteerism as a catalyst for social transformation.

She shared Pakistan’s pioneering experience in mobilizing youth for civic engagement and community service, reaffirming the government’s commitment to nurturing responsible, active, and empowered citizens.
The participation of PMYP at the OIC Youth Capital 2025 demonstrates Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to advance youth empowerment, promote regional cooperation, and contribute to the collective progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
