Former Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General (R) Ehsan ul Haq was Chief Guest on the Occasion and Founding Father of MULSIM Institute Hadrat Sultan Muhammad Ali was Guest of Honour.
Chairman MUSLIM Institute Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali delivered welcoming remarks whereas Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, His Excellency Alisher Tukhtayev delivered Opening Remarks.

Other dignitaries addressing the Opening session included: Director of the Institute of History, Academy of Sciences, Uzbekistan, Prof. Azamat Ziyo, President Centre for South Asia and International Studies Maj. Gen. (R) Khalid Amir Jaffery, and
Pakistan’s Former Ambassador (R) to Uzbekistan Ambassador Sarfaraz Ahmed Sipra.

Research Associate of MUSLIM Institue, Dr. Hamza Iftikhar made an introductory presentation whereas Dr. Saira Alvi moderated the proceedings of the first session.
