Islamabad – Telenor Pakistan has been recognized with the prestigious “Employer of Choice 2025 – Exemplary Award” in the Gender Inclusive Climate Action category, presented by the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The award acknowledges Telenor Pakistan’s continued efforts to create a sustainable and inclusive future by integrating gender diversity into its climate action initiatives. By ensuring women’s active participation in environmental strategies, Telenor Pakistan is setting new standards for corporate responsibility and sustainable leadership in Pakistan.

“At Telenor Pakistan, we believe that climate challenges cannot be solved without diverse perspectives and equitable participation,” said Areej Khan, Chief People Officer, Telenor Pakistan. “We are proud to be building an environment where gender plays a vital role in shaping climate action strategies and driving meaningful change for future generations. This recognition is not just an award—it is a reaffirmation that diversity drives stronger, more sustainable solutions.”
