Islamabad : — Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, attended the Uswah-e-Kamilah Conference and inaugurated the newly established Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Research Institute (SAJRI). He said that the institute is an important step towards promoting the spirit of service of humanity, ethics, and social responsibility among the youth, and will serve as a center of research and dialogue to connect the new generation with their spiritual heritage and core values.
The Federal Minister said that the life of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) is the best model of justice, compassion, and service to humanity. Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) carried forward the same message by making his *khanqah a shelter for orphans, travelers, and the needy. “True spirituality lies not only in worship and remembrance of God, but in serving humanity,” he emphasized.
He further said that this spirit also guides us at the state level today. The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation is working with the same commitment to ensure that no orphan remains without a support, women are respected, and youth are provided with employment opportunities.
