
Islamabad : Ambassador of Thailand to Islamabad led a delegation from Thailand, comprising Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pol. Capt. Piya Raksakul, Deputy Secretary-General of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC), and accompanying officials, to visit the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). They were warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Abdul Raheman, Vice President (Administration and Finance), together with the university’s executive members.

Promoting academic collaboration between Thai universities and IIUI, such as faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and the development of curricula that respond to global societal needs.
Enhancing the welfare of Thai students at IIUI, to ensure that their studies and daily lives abroad are convenient and secure, while also supporting cultural and educational activities.

Strengthening cooperation between the Embassy and the University, with a focus on building networks that benefit Thai students and expanding partnerships with higher education institutions in Thailand.
