Space Camp to Train Future Pakistani Space Scientists & Engineers

SUPARCO’s RESOLVE and Space Research Center, University of Central Punjab Announces “Space Camp 2025” Workshops & National CANSat Competition

Lahore :  As part of World Space Week 2025 celebrations, RESOLVE, an initiative of SUPARCO and the Space Research Center, University of Central Punjab (UCP), is organizing a series of “Space Camp 2025” workshops in Lahore under the theme *Design, Build and Launch Your First Satellite. The program is being held in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Kalam4Solutions, the Pakistan Innovation Fund, and academic partners.

The workshops will be hosted at universities across Lahore, including the University of Central Punjab (UCP), University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), and Information Technology University (ITU). These workshops are open to students and participants from all institutions.

Through practical training with CANSAT and EYASSAT educational kits, participants will gain experience in the complete satellite mission lifecycle — from concept and design to subsystem integration, launch demonstration, and data analysis. Top teams from the workshops will qualify for the National CANSAT Competition in October 2025, which will serve as a central highlight of Pakistan’s World Space Week 2025 activities.

Space Camp 2025 is a step toward building Pakistan’s emerging cadre of space scientists and engineers, equipping them with the skills, vision, and confidence to contribute to the nation’s growing role in global space exploration.
