Islamophobia a bitter reality all over the world, CM

Message of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif on International Day for Commemorating Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief

Lahore: “Our sympathy is with the oppressed who are suffering injustice due to religious prejudice,” said Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif in her message on international day for commemorating victims of acts of violence based on religion or belief. She added,”Islamophobia is a bitter reality all over the world.” She highlighted,”Attacks on mosques, restrictions on women wearing hijab and a practice of linking Muslims to terrorism are causes of concern for the humanity.”

Madam Chief Minister said,”Land of Palestine is red with the blood of martyrs, sighs of innocent children are being buried in the thunder of bullets.” She added,”Valleys of Kashmir are still bleeding from centuries-old suffering.”

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said,”Kashmir and Gaza are question marks on the conscience of humanity that international community is still unable to answer.” She added,”We always stand with every oppressed person who is suffering from oppression and atrocities on religious grounds.”

Madam Chief Minister said,”Religion of Islam loves peace and teaches tolerance.” She added,”We are and will remain with every oppressed person.” She flagged,”Promoting religious tolerance and mutual respect at all levels is our commitment.”
