Ankara : The Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara, in collaboration with a supermarket, hosted a mango tasting event to introduce Turkish consumers to the rich flavor and exceptional quality of Pakistani mangoes. Held at a local CarrefourSA outlet, the event featured freshly cut mangoes and drew a large number of visitors.
Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Ambassador of Pakistan to Türkiye, visited the mango tasting stall and engaged with attendees, highlighting the unique taste, aroma, and appeal of Pakistani mangoes—widely celebrated as the “King of Fruits.” Ambassador Junaid emphasized Pakistan’s position as one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of mangoes and expressed his appreciation for the warm reception by Turkish visitors.

“The response today has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Ambassador Junaid. “We are proud to showcase the diverse and premium varieties of mangoes that Pakistan offers, and we look forward to organizing more such events in the future.”
The event forms part of the Embassy’s broader initiative to strengthen cultural and commercial ties between Pakistan and Türkiye through the promotion of high-quality Pakistani products.
