Pakistan offers immense opportunities in iron and steel sector

SAPM Haroon Akhtar Khan Meets Chairman of Siana Group USA

Islamabad :  Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, held a meeting with M. Ashraf Qazi, Chairman of Siana Group USA, and the Chairman of National Steel Complex Limited.

During the meeting, key areas of discussion included the revival of Pakistan Steel Mills, avenues for mutual business cooperation, investment opportunities in Pakistan, and the export potential of iron ore.

SAPM Haroon Akhtar Khan emphasized that Pakistan offers immense opportunities in the iron and steel sector and that reviving the steel industry is a top priority of the government.

He assured that the government is fully committed to facilitating investors and will provide all necessary support to encourage foreign and local investment.

“Investment in the steel sector is vital for Pakistan’s industrial development,” he noted, adding that concrete steps are being taken to create an investor-friendly environment.
