Citizens can earn Green Credit by recycling plastic

Lahore-: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif Vision of Suthra Punjab, Punjab’s First Plastic-for-Cash Recycling Initiative.

Citizens earn up to Rs1,000 per kg of used plastic.
Machines accept bottles, cups, plates, and store up to 25 kg of plastic.
Users enter mobile number to track credit via dedicated mobile app.
Over 18,000 local scrap dealers onboarded for nationwide impact.
Collected plastic to be used in footpaths, road repairs, and eco bricks.
The Goal is to Shift mindset from “waste” to eco.
Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) installed in 4 private universities already.
