Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chairs Meeting to Review Nominations for National Civil Awards

Islamabad : A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, at the Cabinet Division. The meeting reviewed the names of distinguished professionals in the fields of science, technology, education, and engineering for consideration for national awards and presidential honors. Federal Secretary for Science and Technology, Sajid Baloch, along with senior officials of the ministry and subject experts, attended the session.

Speaking on the occasion, the Federal Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to merit, transparency, and recognition of excellence. He stated that acknowledging the contributions of scientists, researchers, and engineers not only honors their efforts but also serves as an inspiration for the younger generation to engage in research and innovation.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the services and accomplishments of various nominees. Participants agreed that formal recommendations would be finalized and submitted to the competent authorities for approval in accordance with due process.
