PAA aims to enhance passenger experience through public feedback, DG

Sixth DG PAA e-Kacheri Held at PAA Headquarters, Karachi

Karachi : The sixth DG PAA e-Kacheri was held today at the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Headquarters. The session was chaired by the Deputy Director General Works & Development Sumair Saeed and was attended by Directors of HR, CNS, Security, SQMS, Planning & Development, Civil Works, and other senior officials.

The e-Kacheri primarily addressed public concerns related to HR matters and complaints regarding lost or damaged luggage. Additional issues raised by participants included the shortage of porters, matters of technical nature at airports, baggage handling delays, and reports of bribery and inappropriate behavior by personnel associated with various agencies operating at airports.

The Deputy DG responded to participants’ queries, explained the context of the issues raised, and issued directives to relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of complaints and service improvement.

In response to a specific question, the Deputy DG (W&D) informed attendees that the design and consultancy phase for the upgradation of Dera Ghazi Khan Airport is nearing completion, and project work is expected to commence by the end of this year.

Concluding the e-Kacheri, the Deputy DG thanked all participants for their valuable input and reiterated that the Pakistan Airports Authority remains committed to enhancing the passenger experience and continues to rely on public feedback to guide improvements.
