Pakistan committed to strong energy ties with global leaders like SOCAR, Malik

Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik Meets SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf to Strengthen Energy Cooperation

Baku : Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a pivotal meeting with Mr. Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), to discuss enhancing bilateral energy cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration in the oil and gas sector.

The meeting focused on strengthening ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan in the energy domain. Both sides exchanged views on mutual interests, including potential investments and joint ventures, to bolster energy security and sustainable development.

Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to fostering strong partnerships with global energy leaders like SOCAR. He emphasized the government’s efforts to create an investor-friendly environment.

Mr. Rovshan Najaf commended Pakistan’s progress in the energy sector and expressed SOCAR’s interest in deepening engagement with Pakistani counterparts.
