Coordinator to Prime Minister on Commerce Visits PITAD

Islamabad – Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Commerce, visited the Pakistan Institute of Trade and Development (PITAD) to review its pivotal role in shaping the nation’s trade landscape. During the visit, he was presented with an in-depth briefing on PITAD’s mandate, core functions, operational scope, performance metrics, and the challenges it faces in a dynamic global trade environment.

Established to enhance Pakistan’s trade policy framework, PITAD serves as a premier institution for training professionals and fostering research to boost export competitiveness and strengthen international trade relations. Rana Ihsaan toured PITAD’s modern facilities in Islamabad, engaging with officials to discuss strategies for overcoming challenges and amplifying the institute’s impact on national commerce.
