The Council expressed appreciation for the Child Enrolment Program in Punjab, recognizing it as a significant step toward improving educational access and child welfare. Members also discussed upcoming PCCR initiatives, including the Young Citizens Internship Program 2025, which aims to engage youth in the parliamentary process and civic education.

The Council strongly condemned the recent unprovoked attacks by Indian forces, which tragically claimed the lives of seven innocent children between the ages of 3 and 8 years. The Advisory Council extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and called for international accountability for violations of children’s rights and international humanitarian law.

The PCCR remains committed to protecting and promoting the rights of children across Pakistan, and ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, just, and nurturing environment.
